Assays

Isoformix has developed mass spectrometry-based assays for analysis of apolipoproteins from human plasma, serum, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and brain samples:

• The apoE assay simultaneously detects the three apoE isoforms (E2, E3, and E4) and their glycoforms in a manner that preserves the isoform-specific glycosylation. 
• The apoC-I and C-II assay detects the native proteins and their truncated isoforms. 
• The apoC-III assay detects multiple glycoforms of the protein. 

These assays were recently demonstrated and utilized in larger cohorts. 

< 10 samples: $300 / assay
